On the other hand, it's lucky the Wholly Babble is so turgid and befuddled that nobody ever reads very much of it. If this guy had done all the stuff that's mandated or recommended in that foul book, he'd have made the Night Stalker look like Mary Poppins.
The periodical I get from the Freedom From Religion Foundation has a large "Black Collar Crime" section every month. It lists all the clergy who have been arraigned, tried, convicted and sentenced in all manner of crimes; lots of sex crimes, not surprisingly.
I am sure they will plead like Flip Wilson when he use to play Rev. Leroy: "The Devil made me do it, Judge"

Well, that would be more plausible than some of the other stuff they've tried, like "The sixties made me do it."
Funny how all these intensive Bible readers are so peculiarly susceptible to the influence of the Devil.
